went to esplanade library to study yesterday after the hospitality talk. there was this woman working on her artwork on a blank wall. she used two shades of brown to write lyrics of two songs by kurt elling: beauty of all things and the waltz. it's so beautiful i can't just describe it. go see it for urself and you'd understand. anw, that made me and guin go look up kurt elling's songs. they all have beautiful lyrics. here's one:

HAPPY belated VALENTINE'S DAY PEOPLE! though i feel that it's just a day for more ppl to make more money, i still love vday loads! vday in st nicks was really woah! once you step into school there's so many people running around giving cookies, balloons, hugs... the whole day through you're just giving and receiving presents and huggies! yepp. not as much happening in vj but still enjoyed it all the same :)

so! the big event of the day for me was the guitar concert at the concourse. joo skippy and sharon asked me to sing for them a while back. teardrops on my guitar by taylor swift. i was super super scared! cos i already get stage fright in a choir. haha. and i screwed up the rehearsal a day back. ): luckily the actual performance was okay. the guitar ppl are really damn pro! i felt so intimidated by their pro-ness. haha. but they're all really nice ppl who kept reassuring me (: thanks everyone who came down to support me and the guitar ppl, to joo skippy sharon for letting me be part of your concert (you guys played really well! :D) and to the rest of the guitar ppl who have been really friendly (:

after that i went off for my date. with guin. hahaha. my valentine for two years now! we went to ecp this year to just sit, talk and play sand hahaha.

thanks to everyone who gave or didn't give presents. whether we're real close or not, i'm sure you've made a difference in my life. everybody's a somebody to somebody!
